Eat Cheese and Eggs Can Overcome Diabetes

A study conducted by scientists from Scandinavia mention that the habit of eating eggs and cheese also can reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes up to one-third. The results of studies that have been published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition that could be exciting news for people at risk for diabetes.

The research method is the observation of the eating behavior of around 2,332 male participants aged 42-60 years. The participants were also in the study of heart disease that is carried out in the 1980s.

After 20 years, conducted a study back that shows the results of only 432 people with type 2 diabetes.

Eating behavior of the majority of the participants was taking approximately 4 eggs/week, the number who suffer from type 2 diabetes, was 37 percent lower when compared with those who ate only 1 egg/week.

Reported by the Daily Mail website, that egg consumption did not only reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes but also lowers blood sugar levels. This could trigger a decline in the number of patients with type 2 diabetes.

For the results of studies regarding cheese and yogurt, foods that are high in protein and fat is even called able to reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes up to a quarter. It is the result of research about the effect of food with saturated fat content for the possible emergence of diabetes risk.

Studies held by the University of Lund, Sweden shows that the majority of participants who ate high-fat dairy products, the risk for type 2 diabetes lower compared to those who rarely eat dairy products such as cheese and yogurt.
