Every person would like to have an ideal body. Unfortunately, in order to realize their dream, there are still many people who do it the wrong way. Even obsession is actually even lead to eating disorders, where it is very dangerous for the body and soul. One of the eating disorders is Anorexia Nervosa. Maybe some of you have heard about the eating disorder, but there are still some other problems which will be reviewed below.

According to psychological experts, there are three types of eating disorders, namely =

  1. Anorexia nervosa.
    Anorexia nervosa is an eating disorder that occurs because of the fear of an excessive increase in weight. This disorder can be caused due to a distorted self-image. Anorexia nervosa is a complex disease that not only involves a psychological component, but also physiological and sociological. Sufferers tend to be afraid to eat because they think it will lead to weight gain. If the condition is not addressed, then the body of the patient will be very thin such as malnutrition. Even at advanced level, Anorexia nervosa sufferers will face acute liver dysfunction.
  2. Bulimia nervosa.
    Bulimia nervosa is a psychological disorder that causes eating disorders and is a form of self-torture. This disorder describes the habits of the people who overeat constantly, but in the end, they put out (vomit) back food they had eaten. The action (issuing food back) performed to eliminate guilt or hatred towards themselves due to continuous overeating. In addition, people with bulimia also have a tendency to excessive exercise and strict dieting. This disorder often occurs in women.
  3. Binge eating disorder.
    This is a similar disorder such as bulimia nervosa, even some experts say that binge eating disorder is a mild form of bulimia nervosa. People with this disorder also eat excessively but do not constantly like bulimia nervosa. In addition, the sufferer is also not to regurgitate their food again. Most of these patients had a negative outlook on food.

In Indonesia, anorexia and bulimia tend to be experienced by adolescent girls and those younger. But has now penetrated into the metrosexual men who are obsessed with appearance and attractive body. While binge eating disorder tends to be found in women and men, from a young age to 40 years. It happened due to social pressure factor.
