Autoimmune diseases or autoimmune disorders can be very dangerous because it attacks the body’s own resistance. The immune system should protect the body’s cells and attack bacteria and viruses that enter but instead attack healthy body cells.

In a study conducted by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, from the 80 types of autoimmune diseases, there are 4 types of dangerous and can cause death.

Worse yet, women are most at risk of developing this autoimmune disease than men. Here are the names of the four types of the disease =

#1. Graves disease.

The disease attacks the thyroid gland and causing excessive activity in the gland. You can recognize the symptoms of hyperthyroidism, eye diseases, and skin problems.

#3. Addison’s disease.

#4. Granulomatosis with polyangiitis.
